Cookies and local storage
This marketing site does not add advertising pixels, analytics trackers, third-party embeds that load on their own, or third-party chat scripts. Fonts, illustrations, the film and the press clips are served by this site. The testimonials and the ColorLoop on press clips are YouTube videos: the page shows a still image served by this site, and the video loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com) only when you press play. From that moment YouTube receives your request and may set its own cookies, under YouTube’s privacy policy. The Watch on YouTube links, or a click with a modifier key, open the video on youtube.com instead. It remembers that you dismissed the cookie information notice using the preference below.

The “Cookie information” link in the footer reopens the notice at any time. There are no optional tracking categories to accept on this version of the marketing site.
The guided assistant
The assistant follows a fixed set of questions. It is not a live representative and does not send your answers to an AI service. Answers remain in the open page and are not saved to this site’s server or browser storage. Reloading the page clears them. Avoid including confidential customer or production data.
“Copy my brief” copies your answers to your clipboard when you choose it. “Email this brief” opens your email application with a draft addressed to Rutherford. You review and send that email yourself. The assistant does not report that a request has been sent or that a booking has been made.
Booking, console validation and email
Booking links open Rutherford’s Pipedrive calendar. Console-validation links open Rutherford’s website. These services load only when you follow their links, and their own notices apply. Your assistant answers are not automatically passed to them. You can paste your project brief into your booking notes if you wish.
If you email Rutherford or submit a booking or validation request, the details you provide are used to respond to your inquiry and prepare your project discussion. The legal basis for steps you request before entering a contract is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. A project inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Audience measurement
The site counts visits and page views with Vercel Web Analytics and measures loading speed with Vercel Speed Insights. Both work without cookies and without identifying you: the data is aggregated, and no personal profile is built.
Newsletter
The sign-up at the bottom of each page subscribes you to the Rutherford newsletter. Your email address is stored in Rutherford's customer relationship tool, Pipedrive, with the date and the source of your sign-up. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to Rutherford at the address above.
Game leaderboards
To add a score to a leaderboard, you give a name and an email. Your name and score are shown on the leaderboard; your email is never shown. Rutherford keeps your email in Pipedrive to contact you about the leaderboard. If you tick the second box, Rutherford also sends you its newsletter and may use your email for its social media audiences; this box is optional and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Scores are kept until the leaderboard is reset; ask Rutherford to remove yours at any time.
